Role: Admin, Account Manager |
Connecting your Genesys account to Klaus couldn't be easier. Just follow the steps below to get started.
For a comprehensive technical overview of the Genesys Cloud Client Credentials Grant, please see the developer documentation.
1. Create an OAuth Client
Before establishing a connection between Genesys Cloud and Klaus, you need to first generate a client under OAuth > Client > Add permission. For more detailed instructions on how to create an OAuth client, follow the steps outlined under the Platform API tab here.
Link to the OAuth admin page here (or navigate Admin > Integrations > OAuth).
In step 4, enter an "App Name" name of your choice, such as "Klaus integration".
In step 7, set the "Grant type" to "Client Credentials".
When selecting "Roles", please ensure that the selections include the following permissions:
Recording:recording:view
Routing > email > manage
Analytics > conversation detail > view
If using survey data in Klaus, the following permissions are also required:
analytics:surveyAggregate:view
Quality:survey:view
In step 9, please make sure to record the Client ID and the Client Secret (token).
2. Input credentials in Klaus
In Klaus, navigate to Settings > Connections > Add connection and search for ‘Genesys’ in the connections drop-down.
Give your connection a name (useful in case you add multiple connections in future).
Enter the API Client Id and Client Secret.
That's it! We will start syncing conversations from your Genesys Cloud account. You can contact Support if you have any questions.
Genesys Cloud integration is available on Klaus’ Enterprise plan.
