How to connect Talkdesk?
When signing up, you will be asked to connect your help desk. The first step is to choose Talkdesk from the list of our integrations.
Give your Connection a name (useful in case you add multiple connections in future).
Add your Talkdesk subdomain to the subdomain field.
To get the API Client ID and API Client Secret, you need to create a new OAuth client. For that you have to go to Talkdesk > Builder > OAuth clients > New OAuth client and select:
Grant type: Client credentials
Scopes: data-reports:read, data-reports:write, recordings:read, users:read
Make sure that call recordings are enabled (it's mandatory for the connection to work). To do that go to Admin > Preferences > Call Settings > enable all recordings:
Select the retention period for your data.
That's it! We will start syncing conversations from your Talkdesk account. This may take some time depending on the options you selected and your conversation volume. You can contact our Support team if you have any questions.
